Unit 11 · Dialogue 1 — Encouraging a Short Walk

A client does not want to walk because her legs hurt. The healthcare worker checks whether the pain is new, acknowledges her discomfort, makes the request smaller, and lets her choose when to begin.

How to practice

A simple flow students can follow every time.
  1. 1Tap Start dialogue and listen to the chattybot's line.
  2. 2When your line lights up, tap the green microphone and read it aloud.
  3. 3Tap the arrow to send what you said. The dialogue moves on.
  4. 4Tap the speaker beside any line to hear it read aloud.
  5. 5At the end, click Review for feedback, or Refresh to read it again.
